In 2010, Aster360 was honoured to be approached by the Head of Ealing Council regarding a landmark event planned for the borough—specifically Southall—owing to its historic ties to the Royal Family. We were informed that Catherine Middleton, the future Queen, along with her mother and grandmother, had once lived in Southall, where their early lives took root. To commemorate these connections and the forthcoming wedding of Prince William and Catherine, Ealing Council invited us to organize a celebration befitting the occasion.
We embraced this opportunity with pride and purpose. On Friday, April 29, 2011, Aster360 delivered one of its most iconic events: a community-wide celebration of the Royal Wedding. The event featured a vibrant re-enactment of an Asian royal wedding, timed to coincide with the couple’s exchange of vows. Broadcast live across more than 28 countries—including Channel 4 in the UK—it drew over 7,000 attendees and remains a cherished memory for residents of the London Borough of Ealing.

Aster360 Is Proud To Celebrate 40 Years In The Entertainment Industry (1984-2024)
Following the success of the 2011 celebration, Ealing Council once again entrusted Aster360 with organizing festivities for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. Held on Sunday, 3rd June 2012, the two-day event welcomed more than 25,000 attendees and was executed with the same precision, cultural richness, and community spirit that define our work.
In 2021, a decade after the Royal Wedding, the BBC honored our 2011 celebration by naming it the “Best Event Globally from all Commonwealth countries” that participated in the Royal Wedding festivities. We were deeply privileged to be featured in their commemorative documentary marking the 10-year anniversary.
On behalf of Aster360, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Ealing Council and the BBC for their continued trust and recognition. These milestones reflect not only our commitment to excellence in event management but also the enduring power of community, heritage, and celebration.
